Environment-friendly developments are impossible where there is military conflict. Peace and fraternity in the world, reflecting the current European model, are of the essence. In the Rhine Basin, history has shown to what extent state borders can be damaging: our 40 proposals are just as valid for the right bank as for the left. We have much to learn from our German and Swiss neighbours and, with them, we will go further down the road towards eco-friendly humanitarian progress.

Peace goes hand in hand with social justice, which is essential to environmental progress and active citizenship. Shelter, healthy food, social cohesion and access to culture are things we all need.

In more than 40 years activity, Alsace Nature has made a major contribution to nature and environment preservation in Alsace.This success is mainly due to your support. Voluntary help based on solid skills is one of our fields of action. Thanks to our widespread and motivated network, Alsace Nature is able to work on up to 300 cases each year. The commitment of our volunteers is rendered even more efficient because of the active and highly motivated support provided by employees. Responding to day-to-day enquiries, proposing innovative projects (preservation of grassland zones, inter-association magazine, creation of a green network, promotion of public transport,…) involves a level of effort and commitment only a permanent team can provide.
