Alsace Nature: A United Federation

For more than 40 years, ALSACE NATURE has been federating people who work for environmental conservation and for the promotion of a healthy and pleasant living environment (3000 members and 150 associations). Thanks to the commitment of volunteers, members, employees and the support of federated associations, Alsace Nature has become an essential social partner.

Our commitment towards the federation gives more power to our actions. Thanks to the support of all federated associations which contribute to the existence and the strength of the federation we are now considered an essential partner in debate on environmental matters.

Federating is uniting, representing, animating and supporting.

Here are some reasons to join us

ALSACE NATURE works on many cases in conjunction with one or several federated associations which strengthen the citizen movement we represent.

We have "won" many cases thanks to this collaboration. For example, we stopped the planned construction of a Center Parcs complex in the heart of the Niederlauterbach Forest. The Niederlauterbach Environmental Association organized the field work while benefiting from the technical support, the experience and the strong reputation of ALSACE NATURE. There are other associations which have also done outstanding work like Associations from the "Associations-Politicians- Farmers" comittee which fight against the "Main West Bypass in Strasbourg" project.

Strength is in unity : we still believe in this old maxim !

Becoming a member will give you the opportunity:

to take part in our "Sorties Natures" programme by submitting your guided tours.
to take part in our volunteer training programme.
to receive privileged information according to your status (invitation to the meetings of your sector-based group, Thematic Networks,…)
to become active in ALSACE NATURE's internal affairs by taking part in federal assemblies and possibly becoming a member of the three management committees.
